This recipe serves 1 and uses a 250 ml cup. Here's what you'll need:

Ingredients:

  • 5 tablespoons plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon (2-3g) Shinrin Tea Matcha
  • 4 tablespoons plant-based milk
  • 2 teaspoons refined coconut oil or other neutral oil
  • A few drops of almond extract
  • 20-30g Shinrin Tea Matcha Chocolate

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients and sugar. Sift to remove any lumps.
  2. Add the milk, oil, and almond extract. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Add the mixture to a microwave-safe cup (200-250ml) and mix in 2/3 of the chopped Shinrin Tea Matcha Chocolate. Top with the remaining chocolate.
  4. Microwave the cup for 1 minute and 30 seconds if your microwave is 700W or 1 minute if it's 900W.
